Membership to Pwani University Library is open to the following categories of users:
Internal Academic
Teaching staff
Full access to all print collections, digital repositories, and research support.
- Borrowing Limit: Up to 10 Books
- Loan Period: 30 Days
- Requirements: Staff ID & Employment Letter
Primary Users
Students
Undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled in active academic programs.
- Borrowing Limit: Up to 4 Books
- Loan Period: 14 Days
- Requirements: Valid Student ID & Registration Clearance
Internal Administrative
Non-teaching staff
Administrative and support personnel across all university departments.
- Borrowing Limit: Up to 4 Books
- Loan Period: 14 Days
- Requirements: Valid Staff ID
PU Graduates
Alumni
Former graduates seeking reference access and specialized research material.
- Access Type: On-Site Reference & E-Resources
- Requirements: Alumni Card & National ID

Affiliated projects, school attachment staff, and campus partners.

- Requirements: Departmental Recommendation Letter
