PHD STUDENTS STUDY-ROOM!
A dedicated study-space for post-graduate students is available on the 3rd floor West Wing of the PU Library. The room has laptop desks with seats. PhD students can access the room from Monday to Friday 8:00AM-10PM. Sat: 9AM-3PM.
Reference management tools allow you to store and manage the references that you gather in the course of your research project. Visit the library for research referencing tools. Web-based referencing tools are also available for free usage online 24/7.
Zotero is a free desktop software platform and browser add-on for Firefox, Chrome, and Safari. It has the ability to extract bibliographic data directly from many web pages, meaning that adding a reference to your database can be as easy as clicking a button in your browser.
EndNote allows you to create your own personal database of references, known as an EndNote library. EndNote library provides a way for your to store and manage the references that you gather in the course of the research, and can also be used in conjunction with Microsoft Word, to create in-text citations and bibliographies.
RefWorks is an online tool, you can access the database of your references from any location where you have internet access. PU staff and students can create their free account with their corporate and student email account and begin working with RefWorks immediately.
Mendeley is a free reference tool manager and academic social network that can help you organize your research, collaborate with others online and discover the latest research.
